  Yes. Most filters must be soaked and flushed to remove air and loose carbon.

  How often should I replace the filter?

  Typical range is every 1–3 months, depending on brand, water quality, and usage: JURA recommends 50 L or 2 months; De’Longhi commonly advises ~2 months; Keurig recommends every 60 days for its brewers.For specific details, please refer to the instruction manual of our coffee machine water filter.
